This style is a little different than your standard messy side braid.
Gather Your Hair
To make this a side braid you need to first gather all of your hair off to one side of your head, usually the opposite side of where you part your hair.
Split Into Sections
Now you need to spit the large bunch of hair into three equal sections.
Braid the Middle Strand
Take the center section and braid it before you braid all of the other stands. Secure it with a rubber band.
Mess the Braid
Using your fingers mess the braid by gently pulling on the sides. Start at the bottom of the braid and pull on both side and work your way up.
Now split your hair into the three sections again, making the messy braid the middle stand.
Braid All Three Strands
Finish braiding all three strands and secure the ends with a rubber band.
Finish the Braid
Lastly, mess the braid again with your fingers.
This style is your standard messy side braid.
Separate The Top
