Question: Does tattoo removal work completely?
When second thoughts about that tattoo have you considering removal, it is important to note that permanent and complete removal may not be possible. Some pigments are harder to remove, especially on certain skin types. While past techniques used to leave scars, new techniques involving lasers have proven more effective at tattoo removal. Laser removal may require as little as five sessions, to as many as twelve to fully breakdown the coloring of the tattoo. The smaller and older the tattoo, the easier it is to remove. However, darker colored or larger tattoos still pose a challenge and may not ever be fully removed.
