Another all natural ingredient used to lighten skin is the spice known as turmeric. Combine turmeric and milk in a bowl to create a paste. Then apply that paste to clean skin and let sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse the paste off and wash your skin with a gentle cleanser. Pat dry and then apply some lemon juice to your skin using a cotton pad. Let the lemon juice sit on your skin for a few minutes before rinsing off and applying moisturizer.
