Age isn’t the only thing that affects eyesight today. Looking at a computer screen, small tablet and phone screen can also weaken your eyes. Luckily, there are steps you can take to improve your eyesight.
The first step to take is to eat a healthy diet rich in antioxidants, zinc, cooper and vitamins, A, C and E. By adding foods such as blueberries, grapes, leafy greens, carrots, salmon and sardines to your diet, you can help protect your sight.
Next, you should exercise your eyes, as well as give them proper rest. Don’t stare at your electronics for too long. At least once an hour step away from your screen and give your eyes a few minutes rest. Speaking of resting your eyes, nothing works better than a good night’s sleep. It will help keep you fresh and give your eyes time to recharge and repair themselves.
When your eyes are feeling tired, try giving them a little workout. This can include focusing on a static object like a pencil as you move it away from your eyes and then closer to them. Massaging the area around your eyes can also help with fatigue and keep your eyesight strong.
